April – “The Big Picture”
THE CONNECTION BETWEEN HOPE AND GOD’S CHARACTER, AS SHOWN THROUGH GOD’S BIG STORY
Life can be complicated. In fact, Jesus told His disciples that we would have trouble in this world (John 16:33b). Sometimes, we may not understand why something happens the way it does. Yet, in spite of the things that go wrong or the things we don’t understand, we can have hope that God knows what’s best and is working for our good. Because of that, we can trust God no matter what as we begin to explore why the story of Jesus is good news for everyone.
WEEK ONE: Keep Looking to Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Bottom Line: Whatever happens, keep looking to Jesus.
WEEK TWO: Palm Sunday (John 12:12-16)
Bottom Line: Whatever happens, remember God is still working.
WEEK THREE: Crucifixion and Resurrection (John 18–20:1-18; 1 Peter 1:3)
Bottom Line: Whatever happens, remember Jesus is alive.
WEEK FOUR: Jesus Appears to Thomas (John 20:19-29)
Bottom Line: Whatever happens, remember God is bigger than your questions.
MEMORY VERSE: “In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.” John 16:33B
We believe kids learn best in a small group environment, therefore, we have designated a specific time out of our Sunday morning schedule just for groups. These life groups give us opportunities to reinforce the main point of the day and talk about actual life application at the individual level. All classes are divided into grade levels for the best developmental engagement.
JumpStart is a class for children who are asking questions about salvation and/or baptism and their parents. It is also for children who have recently accepted Jesus, been baptized, or joined the church by letter. Please register below or contact Lara Wren for more information.

What does it mean to live like Jesus?
Jesus showed us the greatest example of what it looks like to truly value others. Through His life, He taught us how to love, care for, and live in peace with one another. When we follow Him, God’s Spirit helps us do the same—transforming not just our lives but the world around us.
At Kidz Week, kids will discover how to pray, care, teach, and forgive—just like Jesus! Get ready for an exciting week of learning, fun, and faith in action.
