The Point is a ministry of FBCIT for high school students. It is our desire to point students to Jesus because Jesus is better than anything that the world has to offer! We hope to see you this week at The Point!

Meet Justin & Courtney!

Justin Kenley has been the Minister to High School Students at FBCIT since February 2018. Previously, Justin served for nearly three years as the youth pastor at our East Campus in Marshville, NC. Justin graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry with a concentration in Youth Ministry. Justin is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It was at Anderson University that Justin met his beautiful wife Courtney, where they dated throughout college and were married on December 16th, 2017. Justin loves high school students, and it is his goal to point students to Jesus.

What's Going On

Life Groups

Sundays, 9:15am & 11am

JWAC

Students will be placed in a gender and age specific life group. We have an incredible team of leaders who are there every single week to lead these groups, and their desire is to point students to Jesus.

Student Night

Wednesdays, 6:30-8pm
Doors open at 6pm

Worship & Performing Arts Center

Your student will enjoy a fun, open gym environment where they can play sports and relax before our service starts. Service will include scripture reading, student-led worship, and the preaching of God's Word. Our entire Wednesday night is geared towards pointing your student towards Jesus Christ.

Let us celebrate you!

Your student, along with up to four guests, is invited to a complimentary breakfast to celebrate this milestone in their life. Be sure to register by May 23 and include the number of guests you plan to bring. Don’t forget the pictures of your graduate.

Graduate Sunday

June 4 | 9:15am & 11am

Graduation, whether from high school or college, is such an important and momentous event, and the church wants to recognize and celebrate each graduating student. Please register your student no later than May 31. If possible, we encourage students to walk at both the Blended service at 9:15am AND The LIFT at 11:00am. Also, we want to know where you’re graduating from and what your plans are following graduation. Please take a moment to register. Questions? Contact Betsy.

There’s no week like camp where we dive into the Word, experience incredible worship, engage in community, and have an insane amount of fun! When we say it’s the best week of the year, WE MEAN IT!

Local Missions Week

June 26 - 29

Join us as we serve the community of Suburban Estates by hosting a backyard Bible club. We’ll share in fun, food, and fellowship as we point folks to Jesus. Meet us at the Student Center every morning by 8:15am and we will be back by 11:30am!
